50 minutes later, I arrived at my apartment to find out that I had done exactly the same here, i.e. turned off the heating before I had left, and it's bloody freezing! This 'reducing your carbon footprint' milarky can be most inconvenient at times. Before I died of hyperventilation, I needed to come up with a plan of action. Given that Phil, Becky and Joe only live in an apartment in the block next door (10 seconds away), visiting them seemed an obvious course of action.
I turned up, and had completely forgotten that they were all tired because they had been out with friends last night. This is the scene that greeted me at their (rather nice - shame you can't see it all) apartment:
Phil beavering away with work - on a Sunday evening no less. Crikey, he is both dedicated and unshaven. What a dichotomy!
Juan was hiding away in his bedroom watching.................... DARTS! Now I may not be up to date with the youth of today, but isn't that an old man's sport? (feel free to tell me otherwise!). I do worry about Juan though, he doesn't half have some odd hobbies. If you look closely, he is so engrossed in the action that he nearly didn't notice me.Where is Becks you might ask? Well I would have included a picture of her, but she was in the shower, and I thought it might be a tad inappropriate!
So to make up for the lack of Becks, I managed to get this picture. It might appear insignificant, but it is the equivalent of a naturalist taking a verified shot of the yeti. Yes! It is Phil washing up! .......... now that is rarer than duck's teeth.Back to work tomorrow, and the first thing I have to remember is that the driver for one of our lovely customers (James) lost his mobile phone at the loading bay. We shall sweep the area with vigour. See you all soon x
