Well true to this week's form, the phones today were quieter than a tree that has fallen in the forest with no one there to hear it. Unfortunately that didn't mean that I had nothing to do, no sirrrrreeee. Quite the opposite in fact. A lot of new furniture designs have arrived in the last couple of months, and muggins 'ere is responsible for the 'new product introduction' or 'NPI' (makes me sound more important if I use acronyms!) process, as we call it at Baumhaus.
Guess what though? All the new designs are for our bathroom range, but sssshhhhhhh don't tell anyone because I haven't told our lovely customers yet. I was so excited about this unexpected expansion of the bathroom range, that I made myself a ham and tomato sandwich with extra pepper and mustard to keep myself fortified.
So are you ready for the big reveal? Here we go......... DAH DAAAAAAHHHHH (hear the whoosh as the blanket is whipped off)!
The new Kudos darkwood bathroom set! How thoroughly marvellous is that? (if I do say so myself!). We don't have any bathroom props at Baumhaus, so Phil spent ages on Photoshop (image editing software in case you are wandering what I am on about!) putting all our products onto a fake background to showcase them better. He did do a good job, but my, don't we know it. He strutted around the office hailing 'triumph!' at everyone, a bit like a Bolshevik after the October revolution come to think of it.
Now the product above looks a bit odd, but all will become clear. It is called a Space Saver and it it a unit that sits above your toilet to create extra storage. We obviously need to improve the photographs, but I wanted to give you a taster! How good an idea is that?
Finally we have a pair of superb new additions to the Mobel Oak range. A tall glazed bathroom cabinet, and a laundry bin with a hydraulic damper on the lid. Phil is going to try and put these into a bathroom setting too, but it takes him so long, that bathrooms (like their predecessors, outside toilets) will probably be obsolete and replaced by 'sonic cleansing units' by the time he gets round to it. Wink! only joking Phil!
